After a few months, this functionality is finally coming to Android smartphones, and may already be tested in the current beta version of Gboard. Nowadays, for both Android and iOS, there is a growing number of keyboards that allow you to customize the user’s writing experience, both in looks and in smart features. The tech giant Google has maintained its focus on this market for both mobile operating systems since the early days and has been trying to come up with a solution that is as reliable, complete and personalized as possible.
The news that GBoard brings
Once in January, the tech giant Google introduced the possibility of creating GIFs on its iOS keyboard, hence, now the tech giant Google will also introduce it to Android smartphone users. To use this new feature, you must have, for now, the beta version of Gboard installed on your mobile device.
Creating a GIF on Google Keyboard
To create your new GIF, start a conversation in any messaging application and open the option to insert visual content, followed by the GIF tab, and finally the My GIF tab. Authorize image capture and storage permissions to the keyboard and, through the camera application, which will open, capture your animated image. In the capture, options are available some animations to complement the capture of your image and thus to make it more appealing. Then, just choose the image you recorded, which will be available on the My GIFs tab, and send to your contact. This is a feature that some Android users have been waiting for some time, which is now finally being implemented in the test versions of the Google keyboard. For now, it is present in the Beta version and, soon, it should be available also in the final version, for everyone to use. So, what do you think about this?
