Now, after much anticipation and some recent teasers, Vivo X20 Plus UD has been launched in China. Well, Vivo X20 Plus UD is just an upgraded variant of original X20 Plus that was launched in September 2017. What makes the latest phone different from others out there is the under-display fingerprint sensor. Well, the latest technology has been designed through a partnership between Vivo and Synaptics. Guess what? The new sensor is touted to detect fingerprint in few milliseconds and can also work under layer up to 1.5mm thick, including the screen protector. Not only these, Synaptic also have some high aims to produce at least 70 million units of its under-display fingerprint sensor in 2019.
If we talk about the specifications of the smartphone, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and features 6.43 inch AMOLED display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is clocked at 2.2Ghz. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM. Vivo X20 Plus UD features a dual camera setup (12+5MP). On the front, it has 12-megapixel camera sensor. Another best thing is that the smartphone has 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256Gb via microSD card.
